1. General Information
Project Name: Production and Installation of Diesel Tank
Procurement Method: Open Tendering
Budget Estimate: ZMW 500,000.00(inclusive of value-added tax)
Maximum Price Limit: ZMW 550,000.00(inclusive of value-added tax)
The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete execution of the project, including but not limited to:
(1) Detailed engineering and design of the oil tanks in accordance with 4.8T standards.
(2) Procurement of all necessary materials, including steel plates, fittings, valves, and coatings.
(3) Manufacturing and fabrication of the oil tanks.
(4) Transportation of the fabricated tanks to the designated site.
(5) Civil works, foundation preparation, and complete mechanical installation.
(6) Testing, inspection, and commissioning of the tanks.
(7) Provision of all necessary documentation, including As-Built drawings, material certificates, and operation/maintenance manuals.
Contract Duration: Delivery, customs clearance, installation, and commissioning must be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of contract signing.
Joint Bids: Joint bids are not accepted for this tender.
2. Eligibility Criteria for Bidders
Legal Registration: Bidders must be legally registered corporate entities in Zambia with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) and hold a valid Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration.
Tax Compliance: Bidders must possess a valid Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN) issued by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC)
Professional Certification: Possession of a valid grading/certification from the National Council for Construction (NCC) relevant to equipment supply or engineering (if applicable).
Financial Standing: Bidders must demonstrate sound financial standing and a robust accounting system by submitting audited financial statements for the recent financial year(s).
Good Standing: Bidders must have a clean business record with no major violations in Zambia within the past three years. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) or any other relevant regulatory body.
Local Content Requirements: preference will be given to locally owned enterprises.
3. Tender Document Acquisition
Period: From 15 January 2026 to 31 January 2026, between 08:00 and 13:00, and 14:00 and 17:00 (Zambia Standard Time CAT, UTC+2, excluding public holidays).

5. Publication Period
This notice shall remain published for a period of five (5) working days from the date of issue.
6. Additional Instructions
Governing Law: This tender document and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Zambia or through a recognized Zambian arbitration institution.
Currency and Payment: All bid prices and contract settlements shall be made in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW).
E-Procurement: This tender utilizes a fully electronic procurement process. Bidders must register on the relevant platform and obtain the necessary digital credentials in advance.
