Scope of work:
(1) Core Recovery: The overall core recovery rate of the entire borehole shall exceed 80%, and the recovery rate of core and adjacent surrounding rock (within 3 meters) shall reach 90%.
(2) Core Storage: The extracted rock cores shall first be placed in wooden core boxes. The side of each core box must be clearly marked with the mining area name, borehole number, start and end run numbers of cores in the box, start and end depth readings, and box serial number. Geological recorders shall conduct core acceptance inspection to calculate the core recovery rate of each drilling run in the box. Any non-compliant conditions shall be promptly notified to relevant personnel of the Contractor’s drilling crew, who shall implement remedial measures without delay.
(3) Hydro-geological Observation: Water level readings shall be taken at least once for tripping out and tripping in per work shift. Record in detail the start and end depths of abnormal conditions encountered during drilling, including water inflow, water loss, sand gushing, gas emission, rock falling, hole collapse, hole diameter shrinkage/enlargement. Samples of cave fillings shall also be collected.
2. Eligibility Criteria for Bidders
Legal Registration: Bidders must be legally registered corporate entities in Zambia with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) and hold a valid Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration.
Tax Compliance: Bidders must possess a valid Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN) issued by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC).
Professional Certification: Possession of a valid grading/certification from the National Council for Construction (NCC) relevant to equipment supply or engineering (if applicable).
Financial Standing: Bidders must demonstrate sound financial standing and a robust accounting system by submitting audited financial statements for the recent financial year(s).
Good Standing: Bidders must have a clean business record with no major violations in Zambia within the past three years. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) or any other relevant regulatory body.
Local Content Requirements: preference will be given to locally owned enterprises.

6. Additional Instructions
Governing Law: This tender document and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Zambia or through a recognized Zambian arbitration institution.
Currency and Payment: All bid prices and contract settlements shall be made in [Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) ].
