2. Eligibility Criteria for Bidders
Legal Registration: Bidders must be legally registered corporate entities in Zambia with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) and hold a valid Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration.
Tax Compliance: Bidders must possess a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) and a valid Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN) issued by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).
Professional Certification: Possession of a valid grading/certification from the National Council for Construction (NCC) relevant to equipment supply or engineering (if applicable).
Financial Standing: Bidders must demonstrate sound financial standing and a robust accounting system by submitting audited financial statements for the recent financial year(s).
Good Standing: Bidders must have a clean business record with no major violations in Zambia within the past three years. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) or any other relevant regulatory body.
Local Content Requirements: [preference will be given to locally owned enterprises.

6. Additional Instructions
Governing Law: This tender document and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Zambia or through a recognized Zambian arbitration institution.
Currency and Payment: All bid prices and contract settlements shall be made in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) .
